Franchising

This is my McDonald's.

Across the UK & Ireland, Franchisees are running many McDonald’s restaurants. They come from all walks of life, each with their own unique backgrounds. But what they do share, is the ambition, drive, and love for people that's necessary to become a Franchisee.

What we offer

Our training helps you understand roles in our restaurant, from crew member to manager. You'll have a consultant guiding and supporting you through the training. We've even been recognised for the way we support our Franchisees. Winning the British Franchising Association Franchise Support award in 2017.

What you need

As a Franchisee, you’ll need to make a significant up-front financial investment, meaning having at least £100,000 in unencumbered funds. You’ll also need to show you can lead from the front and work within our framework to give yourself the greatest chance of success.

How to apply

Becoming a Franchisee is a long-term commitment. So, it’s beneficial that the application journey is a thorough and thought-out process. And we make sure the process moves at a pace which is right for you. It's not mandatory, but we recommend that you attend a Franchising Event or view our Webcast. This will greatly assist you throughout the process. For more information, head to our McDonald's Franchise website (mcdonalds.com).
