[00:01] Working at McDonald's is helpful to
[00:04] me as a university student because it's flexible.
[00:11] The flexibility as well is very good. I do currently have a set day off
[00:14] where I'm able to go and see my brothers hang out with them in
[00:17] town be able to do something fun with them as I don't live with them anymore.
[00:20]I do quite like flexibility.
[00:25] I'd say how McDonald's has supported me throughout my studies is always
[00:28] flexible with their approach like if I need to work less hours
[00:31] they adjust to that and if we need to work more hours they also
[00:34] adjust to that.
McDonald's has helped me feel like I can be myself because everyone is accepting of who you are and who you decide to be.

[00:10] no judgment. You can definitely be yourself at McDonald's. Yeah.
[00:15] When new crew members come in we'll always guide them
[00:18]through what our expectation is what targets we
[00:21] need to reach today will always encourage them.
[00:25] To have received the employee of the year award was all the
[00:28] hard work I did and it's just nice to see them McDonald's shows like
[00:31] support and appreciates all the
[00:34]hard work you do in the restaurants.
[00:37]My first day in the store, I was introduced to the manager who
[00:40]showed me what exactly I'll be doing. He was very reassuring we
[00:43]went through it together. It relaxed me
[00:46]so much.
There's a role for almost anybody.

[00:01] Back when I started, um, at McDonald's, I was very quiet,
[00:04] very withdrawn, very within myself.
[00:06] As soon as I went on the overnights
[00:07]got to know the people on the overnight,
[00:09]I pretty much sprouted into who I am today.
[00:15]We are really keen to develop people
[00:17]to be the best that they can be.
[00:19]As long as you, as an individual wants progression
[00:22]and training, there's, there's plenty of opportunities
[00:25]to develop yourself professionally.
[00:31]McDonald's as a company really has a great
[00:33]program for anybody to progress.
[00:34]I started as crew and worked my way up
[00:36]to manager within a year and a half.
[00:38]The team is a very good team to work for. I really enjoy.
[00:42]I, I think it's the best job I've ever had
[00:43]because it's so rewarding.
